Beginning January 6, 2014 OREMC will discontinue extended customer service hours. Both our office and phone hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 The POWER of PrePay is an exciting new option for “pay-as-you-go” electric service. PrePay gives you the POWER to manage your electric payments and the POWER to monitor and control your usageIt offers the flexibility of purchasing your electricity when you want, in the amounts you choose. Daily, weekly or monthly—you select the payment plan that works for you and the amounts that best fits your budget.  If you think PrePay might be an option for you or if you have any further questions, please contact our Customer Service Department. 

 

Tips For Reporting A Power Outage

It's never fun to be without power!! If your power goes out please help us to help you get it restored. Contact us at 1-800-262-5131, press option #1 to report an outage.

The outage system will verify the phone number that you are calling from and ask you to verify if that is the number for the address that is without power. If it is not then you can enter your home phone number into the system. You will then be able to give your name and your address. If you know why the power is out, example a tree fell, you can also provide us with that information at this time. At the end of the call you can request a call back to verify that your outage was properly reported.

The key to this system is having the correct and most up to date information on your account. This is why it is very important to keep our Customer Service Department updated with your contact information. We need to know what phone numbers you would use to report an outage. Keeping this information up to date can help us to get your service back on as soon as possible.
